The Powertex PWS endless webbing sling is a flat woven polyester lifting sling for general industrial lifting applications. Made from high-strength polyester yarn and tested in accordance with EN 1492-1, it combines defined load capacity with clear identification and traceability for routine lifting operations.

Only standard slings with full ton WLL are shown in the chart, but PWS slings can be delivered with any WLL and length on request.

Best used for

  • Lifting loads where flat webbing provides a broad contact area.
  • Handling surfaces where softer polyester is preferable to chain or steel wire rope.

Not ideal for

  • High-temperature, sharp-edge, or strong-alkali environments where other products may be more suitable.

Chemical resistance: Resistant to most acids, but not strong alkalizes.
Stretch at working load: 2-3%.
Length tolerance: Nominal length (EWL) ± 3%.

Comment for 1t webbing slings:
We are currently changing the webbing width from 50 to 30 mm. During the transition phase, we will supply 1t webbing slings with either 50 mm or 30 mm webbing.

  • Note: According to EN 1492-1:2000+A1:2008: D.3.7: Slings should be protected from edges, friction and abrasion, whether from the load or the lifting appliance. Where reinforcements and protection against damage from edges and/or abrasion is supplied as part of the sling, this should be correctly positioned. It may be necessary to supplement this with additional protection.
