Steel wire rope ROPETEX S14 is a galvanized rope equipped with a Fibre Core (FC) and has a transparent PVC coating. It can be used for various applications such as lifting slings, locking rope, etc. lt's most used in small diameters up to 12 mm. ROPETEX S14 is equipped with a Fiber Core (FC), which makes the rope very flexible with reasonable strength.
The PVC coating is UV stabilized which makes it suitable for longterm outdoor use and it is fully compliant with REACH Directive 1907/2006.
Rope construction: 6x19M-FCMarking: According to standardTemperature range: -30°C up to +70°CStandard: EN 12385-4 except from coatingNote: End terminations must be placed on exposed steel wire rope. PVC-coating must be removed before applying a ferrule, and ferrule size is to be determined by the steel wire ropes dimensions. Periodic inspections of the steel wire rope can be made difficult due to the PVC-coating. The end user must handle this risk in a proper way, by for instance replacing the wire rope in time.Fill factor: 0,45
